ON Semiconductor Launches New Generation GBU-2 / KBJ-2 Bridge Rectifiers

Strong茂 has launched its new generation GBU-2 / KBJ-2 bridge rectifiers, featuring rated currents ranging from 4A up to a maximum of 35A. 

The new bridge rectifiers feature an optimized internal structure that enhances heat dissipation, achieving optimal thermal conductivity and significantly reducing power loss in design—making them especially suitable for high-current and high-wattage power supply systems. 

Thanks to the optimized internal structure, when the average forward current IF(AV) is 35A, the surge forward current IFSM reaches 400A (*1), enabling high-current operation. These rectifiers are recommended for high-power applications such as air conditioners, computers, server power supplies, and household appliance distribution panels.

The GBU-2 / KBJ-2 series offers a 35A design, representing the industry’s highest current output available. All products use matte tin plating to extend shelf life and come in standard packaging, are halogen-free, and UL-certified, meeting regulatory and environmental requirements.
